Mine-Apolis is heading to Google Play

The first Ozymandias release goes into a closed test on Google Play this month, with a full release to follow.

Mine-Apolis, the studio's first release, goes into a closed test on Google Play this month. A small group of testers plays it for two weeks, we fix what they find, and then it goes out to everyone.

It's a 2D pixel-art mining game set on Araxium, a red moon your crew never meant to visit. Whatever gets them off it is buried under the camp, and you fly the craft that goes down to look.

A few things we decided early and kept:

  • It plays offline. No account or connection needed.
  • It collects nothing. No ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. The privacy policy is short because there is nothing to disclose.
  • It is built for a phone held sideways, with the controls in reach of your thumbs.

The game page has screenshots and more about the game. The Google Play link goes up there as soon as the store page is public.
